There is a rich history behind the celebrations of The Day of the Dead. Some might think that a festival for the dead would be a solemn affair, but it is quite the opposite. You'll find that there are a lot of colours and laughter as people recall the good times with their lost loved ones. To dress for the occasion, Sugar Skull outfits are a traditional choice and Mexican marigolds are the most common flower used to attract the spirits to their offerings. This girls Halloween costume is a wonderful homage to the Mexican event that fascinates the world.

Description:

Girls stretch polyester Day of the Dead dress has black and green satin capped ruffle sleeves.
Pleated blue and black polka dot satin is attached along the wide neckline of the dress.
The dress bodice is pink stretch satin with a large sugar skull print in the centre surrounded with flower print.
A green and black polka dot satin waistband is attached to the front with a large blue and black polka dot bow that has a felt skull attached in the middle.
Dress has a black tulle tutu skirt with double layers of black tulle and a black polyester underskirt.
Tutu skirt has blue and black polka dot ruffles along the hem of the first layer and green and black polka dot satin along the second.
To complete this girls costume, a mini black satin witch hat headband is included.
The witch hat has a pink ribbon hat band with a felt skull embellishment at the front.
