On Halloween night, boys across the world will don their scary headless horseman costumes and take to the streets in search of candy. For many, this annual tradition is a cherished part of childhood. But where did this spooky tradition come from? According to legend, the headless horseman was a Hessian soldier who lost his head during the Revolutionary War. Every Halloween night, he rides through the countryside looking for his lost head. While the origin of the headless horseman is shrouded in mystery, one thing is certain: boys love dressing up as this fearsome figure on Halloween night.

Description:

Boys classic headless horseman costume is made from black stretch polyester fabric and grey non-stretch viscose fabric.
The main body of the costume shirt is designed as a black vest with faux pockets at the front.
An attached black lace necktie sits on the neckline as well as a black mesh insert for vision.
The shirt sleeves are a dark grey viscose fabric with elastic wristbands and ruffled hemlines.
Costume shirt comes with an attached black cape and an oversized felt backed vampire style collar.
Costume is complete with the included latex severed headpiece.
Headpiece is painted with a mixture of browns, reds and blacks to emulate a severed head.
The appliance comes with velcro tabs that line up with the costume fabric to fasten in place whilst worn.
A set of stuffed shoulder pads are included that help to hold the headpiece in place.
