Working at Heaven Costumes never feels like an actual job, as every day we get the privilege of experiencing the joy our customers get from dressing up and having fun. Even though we've been providing happiness through fancy dress, to the people of Adelaide and beyond since 2007, the novelty never wears off – it never stops being hilarious when you see someone dressed as a dancing pink gorilla or a giant 'appealing' banana! It makes us smile every single time we see someone happy, and we absolutely love what we do! Giving people young and old, the opportunity to escape from the real world for a short while and put some fun back into their lives is extremely rewarding.

One important thing we’ve learned at Heaven Costumes is that people of all ages get the same thrill from dressing up; who wouldn’t want the chance to be a superhero for a day? One of the funniest and most rewarding experiences we had was when a little boy wanted to be Superman for his school Book Week costume parade. He was so desperate to put his costume on that he couldn’t wait until he got home. Instead he went to the car park, and just like Superman, did an impressively quick Clark Kent style change, returning only minutes later in his costume with bulging muscles. The smiles on the faces of him and his mum will stay with us forever!
